Our wood specialists source the finest material by hand to make the veneers. The grain of each veneer is as special as a human fingerprint. Above all, this means that no two Niels van Roij Design cars will ever be the similar. Our craftspeople will look for appealing pieces of wood. Featuring a charming arrangement of patterns. It takes about 30 days for each set of veneers to be hand-made. It demands patience and attention from our artisans. Layer by layer they remove the veneer with a rotating blade. Like pages of a book. Then these are collected. After that, our skilled workers keep the veneers in their correct order. By hand they are sanded, lacquered and polished.
