Car body handcrafted from aluminium
The car’s body, crafted entirely from aluminum, showcases the artistry of the master coachbuilders from Niels van Roij Design who employ traditional techniques typically reserved for restoring rare classics. Inside, the vehicle features carbon-fiber bucket seats adorned with blue Alcantara and black leather trim. The switchgear is machined from milled aluminum, while the dials incorporate pure silver inlays. The door panels include unpainted, hand-formed aluminum inserts, each adorned with a small embroidered Italian flag, paying homage to the car’s heritage.
Performance car made by hand
Performance enhancements include bespoke adjustable Koni shock absorbers, a nod to the original Breadvan’s Koni shocks, and the latest Ultrac Vorti+ performance tires from Vredestein.
Manual gearbox with a gated shifter
Although the powertrain remains unchanged, the donor 550 Maranello’s 5.5-liter V12 engine, producing approximately 485 horsepower, continues to power the rear wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox with a gated shifter.
