A Redesigned Exterior
The exterior transformation is where the Breadvan Hommage truly shines. Apart from the windscreen, every body panel has been meticulously crafted from hand-beaten aluminum. The flat roofline extends seamlessly to a sharply truncated Kamm tail, an aerodynamic design that minimizes turbulence and mirrors the original Breadvan’s iconic silhouette. Additional nods to the classic include front wing vents, stacked circular tail lights, and pronounced rear haunches.
The front fascia has also been reimagined with aggressive bonnet intakes and a redesigned grille housing new fog lights. Perhaps the most striking feature is the translucent bubble on the bonnet, a direct homage to the original race car’s distinctive design.
Bespoke Interior Craftsmanship
Inside, the cabin showcases the same level of bespoke craftsmanship. The standard carbon fiber bucket seats have been reupholstered in vibrant blue Alcantara, complete with embroidered silhouettes of the Breadvan Hommage. The switchgear has been recreated in milled aluminum, while quilted black leather and exposed hand-beaten aluminum door panels add to the handcrafted luxury of the interior.
A Legacy of Unique Creations
This project, which took over two years to complete, adds to Niels van Roij Design’s impressive portfolio of bespoke commissions. Previous works include a two-door interpretation of the Range Rover and a Tesla Model S estate. The Breadvan Hommage stands as a testament to the studio’s ability to blend historical reverence with modern design innovation.
