Personal car commission

It all starts with the body-in-white, it could be a aluminium spaceframe architecture, or a classic body on frame. We can completely reconfigure this to support yoru ideas and generous proportions. Conception begins with a single line on paper. Free of the constraints of time and unburdened by limitations, this is an experience without compromise. Every line is refined. Every surface is purposefully shaped. Every request is realised with absolute devotion to the will of the patron. For one patron, the result was the Breadvan Hommage – a motor car like no other. Coachbuilding comprises the design and build of a bespoke vehicle or collectible car in a limited or one-off series. The artistic process involves our designers and coachbuilders basing the new model on an existing chassis of a series-produced car, and modifying it within certain limits to achieve an exclusive and original design.

What is your car vision?

Our clients are collectors and motoring enthusiasts from around the world. Our cars represent the rarest one-off, coach-built vehicles on the planet. What is your interpretation of an open-top two-seater, a classic SUV or shooting brake? Whatever it is you have in mind, we create it in collaboration between our car design studio and your and yours. Our coach building house will ensure clean lines and an emotional style will be captured. We will design the essence of what you have in mind. All the Niels van Roij Design coachbuilding cars are designed and elaborately crafted by hand, the work we make blends the tradition of classic coachwork construction with your vision on trademark aesthetics. Both on the inside and outside, the form can have traditional elements; distinctive headlights and a bespoke grille, which complement the vehicle’s design and stance. Do you envision distinctively curved wheel arches? Classic hood stripes, three-dimensionally embossed and polished aluminum accents? A front splitter made of carbon fiber? Fog lights and air inlets that echo the contours of the headlamps? In our co-design process your perfect interpretation of car design will be created.
